Bring up Windows Task Manager. Look at processes.. Is there only one Inventor listed there? I cant find anything listed on task manager with inventor name, cause it doesnt even open. When i run it as admin same thing happens as before. I get the loading screen in which i think normally there is some text on the lower left corner. Then nothing happens. Look at this screenshot. I used the method at the article you mentioned, then i got prompted to enter my serial number and license number again, but when i press the button to enter it, the window closes and nothing happens again I started a clean reinstall cause i couldnt find the solution. As i am installing it right now, a program called akamai netsession client started installing too. I remember having that program before and i disabled it from windows startup manually cause i thought it wasnt good for the computer and it didnt say it was being used by autodesk apps.
